Did you know? Hitler had a very troubled childhood and maybe this could be the reason why he has done so much evil in this world. This picture depicts of a young Hitler. Hitler's father was violent to him and his mother and was often beaten as a young child.

As years when by, he had told his secretary: "I then resolved never again to cry when my father whipped me. A few days later I had the opportunity of putting my will to the test. My mother, frightened, took refuge in front of the door. As for me, I counted silently the blows of the stick which lashed my rear end". This also tells me that Hitler as a young boy had to go through such torment of feeling the burn that hits his skin everytime his father beaten or whipped him. Imagine, a young child beaten up, maybe thats why Hitler had so much hatred and evil in him. Perharps is was because of his dark childhood that he lost his conscience and was overwhelmed by revenge.

Also, some historians believed Hitler had written a book Mein Kampf and described the vivid image and details of an annonymous example of family violence committed by a husband against a wife. This along with the pain his father had inflicted on him could explain Hitler's deep emotional attachment to his mother while at the same time having a deep sense of hatred against his father.

With such a dark environment to grow up in, it is hard to imagine and understand Hitler's pain and torture he had gone through. From his childhood, it also teaches me a lesson on how parents can affect their children's development. If a child had similar parents as Hitler, i do not think that child would have the mentality to stay upright and just for a long time. Deep emotional scars are scarred on Hitler's heart and memory. Therefore it is important for parents to be careful especially towards their child's development if not you may be bringing up the next 'Hitler!". And so, even history has their lifelong lessons to teach us and impart to us!
